Graphic Design for Print
Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of graphic design do you do?
Double-E Design is able to print media from a simple one-page flyer to a full magazine. Services include flyers, posters, brochures, booklets, magazines, and catalogues.
I can tailor an original design to your needs.
What format will my files be provided in?
Generally, files are provided as print-ready PDF files (and lower-resolution versions for email, for example if you need to be able to send a flyer by email as well as have it printed).
Original files may also be able to be provided to you, which would be Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop files, or a combination of these.
Can you get it printed for me?
Sure thing. When needed, Double-E Design generally arranges printing through Madman Printing, or another provider where more suitable.
Ok...so to get the fastest and most accurate quote possible for a print project, what information should I give you?
- What size do you need the document to be? (If a range of sizes, mention these)
- Do you need printing arranged for you? (The details of this will be discussed in more detail prior to quoting if you don't know much about printing).
- Does your organisation have a style guide that needs to be adhered to?
- Do you already have a logo, images, and/or any design elements you want to use (such as a colour scheme)?
- Do you need Double-E Design to source any images for you?
- Do you need help developing the written content as well?
- When would you like everything finished by?
